Subject: Far out!
Jazz, man...far out! That's totally Vidocovich with the growls and yelps and bizarro "singing" once in a while. He is one weird dude, but man can he play those drums!!!

This lineup cooks and this recording is great. Dig it!

Subject: Wow
I downloaded this randomly and really liked it. Very much. It's no jam band - this is a jazz fusion with funk elements, avant-garde elements, and just straight up excellent craft. I really like it. Thank you to whoever posted.

Subject: Outstanding Show
Listening to this makes me feel like I'm at the Maple Leaf Bar in uptown New Orleans. This is easily the best Robert Walter project I've heard.

Solid, funky stuff. It's great to hear Skerik let loose a bit more with this group.

Another great lineup with RW. I'm a fan of everything I've heard from him and this lineup might be my new favorite. Great sound quality.

Subject: Another Fantastic Walter Project
Wow! This is a great recording of a great lineup, definitely worth the download if you're a fan of Robert's jazzier work. Vidacovich is in a league of his own and really contributes a lot to this performance. Love the onstage mics, the little bits of talk and encouragement that come through remind me of the old live-in-studio jazz sessions, to my ear it's a perfect complement to the outstanding performance.

Subject: Great Show!
I was at this show which was the Sqauw Valley Brews Jazz & Funk Festival . Futureman and Global funk were also on the bill.
I was real impressed with this new lineup, real solid grooves amongst squaws towering mountains.
I recorded this show as well but I'm glad to see the onstage source has been posted.
Do yourself a favor and d/l this show!
Great sound and energy.
